Our Story
L3JS Construction was built on a legacy of real estate, rooted in family and driven by purpose. Founded by brothers John “Jay” Lewis IV and Jamel Lewis, the company reflects decades of industry exposure and a shared commitment to reshaping spaces and communities across Greensboro, NC, and beyond. Growing up in a household where both parents were active real estate brokers, agents, property managers, and developers, Jay and Jamel were immersed in the business from an early age. Whether shadowing property tours, assisting on-site, or absorbing business lessons around the dinner table, the brothers developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for real estate that would eventually shape their careers.
After graduating high school, both brothers attended NC State University in Raleigh, NC, before carving out their own professional paths.
